核与核之间的作用是短程相互作用,但强相互作用应该算作长程作用吧?

Asymptotic gluon is massless. however, the force is short-ranged because of confinement (i.e,. no flux could leak out).

massless vector boson mediate long range force in the perturbative regime (such as E&M)

with the distance increasing, the strengh of the interaction is more strong: this is the reason for confinement. once the deconfinement happens, do you think if your comments break?

what do you mean by deconfinement?

between A and B, when they are close, there is a flux tube of gluons. as the distance grows, the energy of the system grows. At a certain distance, on the order of QCD scale, the flux tube breaks. A and B each pick up something from vacuum and form a new hadron. it is perfectly consistent with the picture that the force between A and B is short ranged. they only interact at the distance smaller than QCD scale.

I think quark-gluon plasma is one kind of matter phase, representing deconfinement of hardron phase.
