转贴：最快乐的国家，印度第四超过英国
我刚到印度不久的时候，对印度同事说，发现他们平均起来比中国人开心很多，猜测印度人的快乐程度可能是比较靠前的。今天晚上加班的时候，我的一个印度同事高速我，说他从报纸上看到一条消息，一个最新的调查显示：印度在30个被调查国家中，幸福程度排名第四！
最前六名是：澳大利亚、美国、埃及、印度、英国和加拿大
最后两名是：匈牙利、俄罗斯

Australians happiest people in the world
BNE: Australians are the happiest people in the world. This is
according to a new survey from the market research company GfK
NOP. Interviewers asked 30,000 people in 30 different countries about
their levels of happiness. Forty-six percent of Australians said they
were “very happy”. Following them was the USA (40 percent), Egypt
(36 percent), India (34 percent) and the UK and Canada (32 percent).
Hungary finished top of the “miserable” list. Thirty-five percent of its
citizens said they were “very unhappy”. Second most miserable were
Russians, at 30 percent.
The research showed that money and age affected how happy people
are. The study did not show that money can buy happiness, but it did
reveal a link between a lack of money and unhappiness. Unhappier
people were in lower income groups or unemployed. The study also
suggested the older we become, the less happy we are. Globally,
teenagers are the happiest people. The least happy age group is 50-59
– only 16 percent of those in their fifties said they were very happy.
The things that make us happy include good health, financial security
and a happy marriage, not cars and clothes.

INDIA has the fourth happiest population in the world, even ahead of Britain and Canada, a survey indicated on Wednesday.
The survey carried out across 30 nations found that only those living in Australia, the US and Egypt are more upbeat.
Around 30,000 people were questioned in the survey, carried out by British market research company GfK NOP.
It also found that those in their 50s were the most downbeat, regardless of which country they were from. The most miserable population was that of Hungary.
Australia was the most cheerful nation, with 46 per cent of the population saying they were very happy.
This was followed by the Americans with 40 per cent. Britain shares the fifth happiest spot with Canada. One in three Britons is "very happy" with the quality of life in London. Just seven per cent are disappointed with how their lives have turned out.
A separate poll, meanwhile, has named Vancouver in Canada as the world`s best place to live.
The Economist Intelligence Unit ranked 127 cities by rating them on factors such as stability, personal risk, healthcare, culture and environment, education, infrastructure and the availability of goods and services.
All the cities that fell into the top "livability" bracket were in Canada, Australia and Western Europe.
Melbourne, Vienna, Geneva and Perth made up the rest of the top five.
But London failed to make a big impression, coming in a lowly joint 47th. It was ranked on par with Dublin and Los Angeles, but way behind Paris (16th).
Manchester was the highest-ranked British city at joint 41st.
"In the current global political climate, it`s no surprise the most desirable destinations are those with the lower perceived threat of terrorism," said Jon Copestake, editor of the EIU report.
The worst places to live were Algiers in Algeria and Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea because "many aspects of daily life present challenges."

你什么时候从印度回来???
幸福快乐对个人来说 是一种感觉
对外人来说 是一种错觉

本月31日回来，要是没有牵挂还真想在这里长呆下去:)
不过印度大部分地区，外国人都不太能适应，Bangalore这个宝地气候是全印度最好的地方。我猜测因此印度政府才希望把这个地方建设成印度的硅谷。不过即便是印度的硅谷，城市基础建设也非常的差，只能跟中国国内的小城市相比。不过我估计Bangalore今后的发展会比国内小城市快得多。
中国人的人生观必须靠·自学成才·，可惜绝大部分人都不是圣人，自学成才的结果要么是成不了材，要么是学成了混蛋。靠·自学成才·学到快乐和诚信，难度对于普通人太大了。
英国网站上评论说印度人毫无原因地傻乐呵，看到那段话把我笑死了。
但我想幸福和快乐是两个层次的东西，真正的幸福感应该建立在成熟之上，单纯地快乐却不需要特别成熟。在这个意义上，大概英国人的评论也不无道理。

to轩轩：我们公司是做通讯设备的，我在公司里面是做密码算法库开发和密码算法问题方面的技术支持和指导的。因为有项目在印度开发，因此我才有机会出差到这边。

看来你进了一个不错的公司 比学物理好 学物理在国内出国的机会不多

印度IT业应该说很发达，但也不能说先进。因为印度IT业缺乏创新，主要是做外包项目。
而且由于印度人对英语都很精通，跟西方国家交流起来非常容易，因此外包的困难很少。
由于英语的关系，印度比国内更早接触最先进的思想。但印度人平均起来并不特别上进。
程序员的平均水平比我们公司国内的研发中心还低许多。
我不认为我作现在的工作比做物理好，因为出国不是我的目的。
我之所以没有做成物理，有几个原因，一个是政治不及格，失去保送资格。第二个还是政治不及格，考研失败。第三个，也是我对大学的物理学教育非常失望。我们的大学物理教育，对于将来根本不打算作物理的人来说，完全没有多少用处。对于将来真心想要做物理的人来说，并没有照顾他们的兴趣。这样一个教育环境下，无论你是否真心喜欢物理，都不会觉得满足。最后，根据我大学期间对学生会和教研组的观察，我觉得学术机构内的勾心斗角也不是我这种类型的人能够应付的。
