服务商尚未回复。依据经验，最有可能的情况是他们改换了服务器。这种情况下用户依据地域不同，会在２４－７２小时内逐渐从旧服务器转到新服务器（个别用户甚至会来回反复）。在转换的时候用户会丢失自己过去若干小时发表的文章（因为发到了旧服务器上），同时发现一些此前未见过的新文章（那些文章是较早转到新服务器的网友所发）。现在我也不知道自己目前所在的服务器是新的还是旧的（新的可能性较大）。
大家目前能做的是对自己过去几小时及未来若干时间内的文章做一个备份，以防不测。

well, my own posts are not that important. :-)
on the other hand, it is annoying that something like this would happen. is this a common thing or is it something that can be improved by changing to a better ISP?

Supposedly, they should inform me prior to such a change (I would then inform the forum in advance). But they claimed it to be an "emergency server switch"...
Their general claim of 99.9% up-time guarantee is pretty much what other ISPs claim, and server switch is usually not even counted as downtime because the site is almost always up in the process, the only change is IP address, and it takes up to 24-72 hours for the new IP to propagate to every user, which is not a problem for static website, but an issue for dynamic site such as a forum.
