A suggestion

To Changhai Lu:

Could you reduce some extra "内力值" of posting articles ?
although I support your idea of determinate this forum ,I felt that a people which is not the acadamic member yet posting alticles does need to have a rest for a long time .then continue .......

You can consider as a net-friend self ,If you were a net-friend in other people 's forum ,if there is no more chance to post, then there is also no chance to post more and more -value articles, even some more high-quanlity articles.

So,I suggest you to reduce some-extra "内力值" of posting articles so that people can post several articles in mathematic and physics 's forum per day .

Thanks for the suggestion.

Quality, not quantity, is what we pursue in academic forums. The current academic member system is stiff enough to keep a certain level of quality, yet flexible enough to allow junior members to post (at a lower but non-zero rate). I tried a couple of times to loose the system, mostly ended up regretfully seeing a flood of low quality posts. So lower the standard (either by allowing too many academic members or let non-academic members post at a higher rate) is not a direction to go.

duality兄有所不知，这里自建站以来经历了一些风风雨雨，几次与民科抗争。如果不是管理有序，这里早已经是民科的天下——当然这样一来，这里也就早跨了。

许多规章制度来自于历史上曾有过的惨痛教训。网上曾经有无数多个学术论坛，就是因为不设限制，最后变成民科的天下而垮掉。

正如“是药三分毒”，治病的药物都有副作用，但比起治病来说，药物的优点是主要的。同样，任何制度都有缺点，这里设立限制可能会存在一些弊（比如会委屈一些新来的潜在高手），但弊利权衡起来，利远大于弊。是金子终会发光，到了一定的时间，金子内力值就会高起来:-)

Thanks very much for your reply ,I think probably you have made the misunderstanding for my original meaning

At first , I want to say, this is of course not my requirement, It's ONLY a suggestion .
If possible, I only want you to REDUCE A LITTLE BiT extra "内力值" so that people can post several articles in physical and mathematical forum per day. and then people can post some more good questions.

For what 星空浩淼 said , I think we can accept it completely, But I think Min Ke dare not come into this forum naturely , It's just like LiMiao's blog . ------When they saw so many people who fight against them strongly in this forum , they do not dare come here .

On the other hand , If NO possible to do that , Please ignore my article.

I think I didn't mis-understand your question. I know you were talking about the system, not yourself, and I know you were suggesting reducing, not eliminating the limitation. My reply was exactly for such suggestion.

As for the new points you raised:

MinKe is NOT the concern I had while designing the system, we already have a zero tolerance policy against MinKe here, which means MinKe will be immediately banned (therefore no need to have any other restriction for them). But MinKe is not the only source of low quality posts, a high school student, for instance, can post 10 questions a day if not restricted. Those are not what this forum is designed for (NOT because I think high school students shouldn't ask questions, but because I don't have the resource to let THIS forum support ALL kinds of discussions, therefore choice is necessary).

I don't know whether you noticed, but the first 20 posts of any new member cost less extra "内力值", this is to allow qualified people to show up faster and become academic members before a higher extra cost takes effect.

You mentioned LiMiao's site, that site is very different from this one. His site is a blog, which means nobody except himself can start a topic. This automatically sets a standard for the discussion. Here anybody can start his/her own topic, therefore the chance of seeing low quality posts is much higher.
