Implementation of holonomic quantum computation through engineering and manipulating environment

Abstract: We consider an atom-field coupled system, in which two multilevel atoms are respectively trapped in two distant cavities which are connected by an optical fiber and are shined by a broadband squeezed light. We show that a two-qubit geometric CPHASE gate between the two atoms can be implemented through adiabatically manipulating the squeezed reservoir along a closed loop. The scheme has two remarkable features. First, no matter how small but nonzero the squeezing amplitude is, a CPHASE gate with arbitrary phase shift can always be implemented. Second, in contrast to previous quantum computation schemes, the larger the effective coupling strength between the environment and the atoms is, the more reliable the realized CPHASE gate is.

It is very nice of you to acknowledge your communication with people here. However, I remind you that it is a little bit unusual to do that in a scientific paper. I think you probably should consider remove it.

我也知道在致谢中这么写很少见，会影响论文的评审么？ Probably not. They probably won't read acknowledgment at all. I just think the readers who notice it may think it is a little bit strange. Also, I don't know whether this will appear as a advertisement for the forum (it should not). Since it is already out, it is OK. Please be careful next time.

西门吹牛兄，你对我的称赞我会当作是鼓励。念博士期间努力的做，争取获得全国优秀博士论文，我确实有这样的愿望。不过我也不想为了这个目标而限制了自己的选题。我希望能够做一些自己觉得有意思，告诉同行之后，也能引起他们兴趣的工作。刚刚投稿的这个工作我就觉得很有意思，我希望也能够引起同行(比如审稿人)的兴趣。这样的工作挑战性很大，有价值的新想法是要在不断的读文献，思考和总结失败教训中才可能出现的。在博士剩下的两年多的时间内能够再做出一个这样的工作我就很满意了。 henring兄，谢谢你的谬赞！ I have known more people whose lives have been ruined by getting a Ph.D. in physics than by drugs.

感觉你成长很快，另外有导师指导，要比从一开始完全靠自编自导自演强，有导师给第一推动力，熟悉最开始的基本常识（包括如何写论文发论文等等）可以少走几年的弯路。
作自己感兴趣的，跟争取优博不矛盾。对于国内学生，在PR系列上发文章不容易，尤其是学工的，就更是难上加难。不过搞量子信息还是有很多优势，所以你很有希望。 One may view the world with the p-eye and one may view it with the q-eye but if one opens both eyes simultaneously then one gets crazy
